1. Who is responsible for your data?
Daly Landscaping is responsible for personal data collected through this website. For questions about how we handle your information or to exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us by form, email or telephone, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, project location and description, and messages you send. If you become a customer, we may also hold quotations, job correspondence and relevant transaction records. Our web host may record technical data such as IP addresses, request times, browser details and security events in server logs.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and preparing quotations: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries where appropriate (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Carrying out agreed work: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Accounting and legal records: compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Website operation and abuse prevention: legitimate interests in providing a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to the applicable rules on cookies and similar technologies.
- Optional embedded Google Maps: your consent to loading optional third-party content and related storage/access (where required).
We do not use enquiry details for unsolicited email marketing through this website. If that changes, this policy and any required permissions will be updated first.
4. Who may process your information?
We use Hosting Ireland for website hosting and a dedicated business email account to receive enquiries. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the enquiry form from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser, device and network to assess submissions. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. If you choose to load the embedded Google Map, Google receives information directly from your browser; see Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some technology providers, including Cloudflare and Google, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, relevant providers are responsible for using applicable legal transfer mechanisms and safeguards. You can contact us for further information about the services used on this website.
6. How long we keep your personal information
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or where a longer period is required or justified by applicable law.
Enquiries and quotations: We retain enquiry and quotation information while responding to requests, preparing quotations and managing related correspondence. Where an enquiry does not result in work, we review the information periodically and delete it when there is no longer a reasonable business or legal need to retain it. In making this decision, we consider the date of our last contact, whether the enquiry remains active and whether any contractual or legal issue is outstanding.
Customer and project records: Where work is undertaken, we retain relevant customer, contractual and project information for as long as necessary to fulfil our obligations, manage warranties, address complaints or disputes, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Financial records: We retain invoices, payment records and other relevant financial information for the periods required by applicable Irish tax and accounting legislation.
Secure deletion: When personal information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it, subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.
7. Your data protection rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
8. Cookies and optional services
See our Cookie Policy for information about consent preferences, browser storage, Google Maps and security technologies.
9. Updates
Last updated: 10 October 2026. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change.
